This girl would be one of the blessings - Sabrina, my sweet & spirited roommate.

Week 9/52 - Streetlights

Mariah & Eric

Rain, rain, and lots of laughs.  

Mariah is a friend of mine from a few years back at a summer camp.  A little while ago she contacted me wanting some photos with her boyfriend Eric while he was home from the slope, so we set up this shoot!  It was wet and gray the whole time but these guys were the GREATEST.  Thanks to their good humor and cooperation we managed to have a great time AND end up with some pretty stellar shots.  You guys were so awesome to work with, thank you! Cage On The Ground (pt2)

 This is my sweet, funny, beautiful porcelain doll. But most people just call her Kassidy. 

She graciously agreed to model for one of my weekly song challenge photos.  Her sister and I had way too much fun picking her outfit, curling hair, doing nails.  

And then I had too much fun shooting.  I had my challenge photo, but she looked oh-so picture-perfect!  How could I stop? So we just kept going. 

This was also my first time experimenting with free-lensing, and I'm in love. 

So delight yourself in these photos full of pretty purples and teals, Christmas lights, curls and ballerina twirls.

Week 7/52 - Cage On The Ground (pt 1)

Another dreamer steps onto the stage
He sings his hope and his fear and his rage
As the applause from the crowd start to fade
He hears them swallow the key to his cage

The dreamer dances inside of his cage

But in the moment he exits the stage

I was beyond excited to shoot someone other than myself for this past week's photo -
so excited in fact, that I couldn't stop at just one. Therefore, there will be a follow-up blog post with more enchanting photos from this shoot :)
