    This sweet family came to me for family photos before their father's deployment.  It turned out to be a lovely shoot, with a little bit of snowfall towards the end.  The kids were great troopers and we got some great smiles - although I heard rumors they were bribed by promises of goodies afterward ;) In any case, it was more than successful!  I hope that you will treasure these photos in the days to come.

Looking Back

Well, I'm not going to lie - this blog has been a daunting task, to say the least.  Thanks to my brother who is still helping me figure out all the "links and gadgets."  There will hopefully be many improvements and I'll learn how to use it effectively! :) 

In any case, to start this blog out I wanted to do a sort of "2012 in Review" post.  It's been over a year since we first bought this camera as a family Christmas present, and roughly 6 months since the "official" start of my business.  I've learned so much during this time, and it is so true that the more you learn, the more you realize you don't know.  I'm excited and hopeful for all the learning that I get to do this coming year.  Thank you to all the wonderful people that have supported me and my business!  Here's to the coming year.
