Girl stood on the rocks with the water at her feet
the sun on her skin and a tear on her cheek
With her hand on her chest and the wind in her hair
Underneath her breath like a beggar's prayer she said
I miss you, come back to me
I wish you'd come back to me
But nobody heard
And the world turned and the world turned and the world turned
the sun on her skin and a tear on her cheek
With her hand on her chest and the wind in her hair
Underneath her breath like a beggar's prayer she said
I miss you, come back to me
I wish you'd come back to me
But nobody heard
And the world turned and the world turned and the world turned
And that's when the girl reached in her pocket
pulled out a silver heart-shaped locket
Opened it up and stared for a while at her faded boy
with a lazy smile, oh how
I miss you, come back to me
I wish you'd come back to me
But nobody heard
And the world turned and the world turned and the world turned
pulled out a silver heart-shaped locket
Opened it up and stared for a while at her faded boy
with a lazy smile, oh how
I miss you, come back to me
I wish you'd come back to me
But nobody heard
And the world turned and the world turned and the world turned

This shoot has been at the drawing board for so long and it finally came into being. And it's beautiful.
The
inspiration came from from the song "And the World Turned" by the Gabe
Dixon song, which I was introduced to by Anna of A.C. Photography. Our
creatively inclined minds instantly started envisioning lovely dresses
and rivers...each in our own way. She assisted me on this shoot, and I
will be assisting her on her upcoming shoot. We both have such
different perspectives - I'm super excited to see what she comes up
with, and you should be too!
The lovely model is Emily Renner, hair and makeup done by myself.
p.s. I know her happy face towards the end of the post doesn't quite fit with the story, but how can you NOT post such a gorgeous smile?
