Week 28/52 - Oceans

you call me out upon the waters
the great unknown where feet may fail
and there I find You in the mystery
in oceans deep
my faith will stand

Your grace abounds in deepest waters
Your sovereign hand
will be my guide
where feet may fail and fear surrounds me
You've never failed and You won't start now

so I will call upon Your name
and keep my eyes above the waves
when oceans rise
my soul will rest in Your embrace
for I am Yours and You are mine

Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders
let me walk upon the waters
wherever You would call me
take me deeper than my feet could ever wander
and my faith will be made stronger
in the presence of my Savior

What an adventure.  Yes, I know I'm behind.  While in Atlanta, Georgia with my college group attending the 2014 Passion Conference (where this song was breathtakingly performed live), our school vans were broken into and among the things stolen was my laptop.
You know that verse in Ephesians where God will do exceedingly abundantly above anything that we could ask or think?  Well, as far as I knew it was going to be months before I could afford a new laptop and I was honestly at a loss for even what to pray for - besides asking God to take control in the situation.  He did.  Through a series of events and people that He used, I along with others in my group were given Mac laptops.  So I sit here in awe of His goodness on a schnazzy Macbook Pro in a coffee shop in Greenville, South Carolina.  The photos above were taken almost a year ago in San Fransisco during my senior trip with my high school choir.  Phenomenal memories - and I've been so photo starved I was looking through my hard drive for old unedited photos and found them and they were PERFECT.  The five words that would best describe me right now are:
Content, Blessed, Grateful, Waiting and in Love.  God is Good.
